Though Bung Inserts
Aromoak Barrel Inserts offer winemaking solutions to recharge used barrels with premium French Oak expression with an average of 80% savings from new barrels. All Aromoak Barrel Inserts are produced in France and utilize 36 month air dried Oak from Center of France forests (Jupilles, Loche, Bercé, Chatearoux).
Each barrel insert comes prepared in a nylon immersion mesh tube with stainless steel eye attachment ready for immediate and easy installation.
Recommended for 3 months of aging minimum.

Through Head Barrel Inserts
Offering winemakers the optional range of standard 100% to concentrated 120% new barrel equivalent, Through Head Barrel Inserts are offered in full range of VINEA toasts and provide a more assertive oak influence than Through Bung-Hole applications. Through Head Barrel Inserts utilize larger pieces of wood to bring fuller mouthfeel, length and roundness. Although additional preparation is required, Through Head Barrel Inserts are highly effective and provide the most “new barrel” like results of any oak application.
